Scene Three: Medieval Times
Roleplay Type: Horses, Riders, and Fantasy Creatures
Step back in time, to a long lost age before the Moonlit Creek Farm we know today.
To a time when a strong King reigned with his beautiful Queen in the Castle of Moonlit Creek.
A time when knights and champions are needed to defend the peasants and commoners from
treasure-hoarding dragons, mountain bandits, and other dangers.
This was a time when a man's horse was his life, his friend, his ally.
Delrado found himself being chased by mountain lions, sprinting away. He was surrounded, the only option to run through a kingdom. The stallion charged in, only one or two lions following. Citizens darted out of the way, shrieking as he knocked over stalls, etc. Somebody looped a rope around his neck, him snapping it and tearing up before pivoting on his hind legs, sprinting off. He felt a pain pinge his side, glancing back and seeing a arrow in it. Eventually, he was caught, being dragged over to the stables. They got a saddle on him and tossed a unfortunate person on it, him bucking off person after person after person. Delrado was given up on breaking for the day, getting tossed into a stall which he kicked the door 'till it broke, darting back out into the kingdom, causing even more chaos.
Asher sighed. It was so BORING to be a page. Why couldn't he be a knight, dressed in armor, riding away on a golden horse to defeat a dragon? Life was unfair. Some people, like his brother, who was only two years older than Asher, could do whatever they wanted simply because they were stronger, older, and, what, smarter? Everyone here knew Asher was the smartest page in Moonlit Creek. He might as well be the smartest person!- aside from the king and queen, or course. Asher sighed again and trudged down the stairs and out the front gate. He headed towards the stables, dodging around archers firing at targets mounted on trees, gardeners carrying baskets of tomatoes and cabbages, and, ugh, knights practicing their lancing techniques atop their towering chargers.
Delrado looked behind him,snorting with defiance but stopping. "It's just what lurks in the caves that can make a grown stallion weak." He growled,voice lingering in the air before he went and laid beneath a old oak.
After the second time she saw Delrado run past she knew something was wrong. The grey mare looked at the others, then muttered something like Be right back. Spirit galloped after the stallion and call out What are you doing? You looked pretty frightened the first time you run past us.
Delrado sighed,resting his head before looking up and backing up.It was a horse like creature but transparent. *+* Delrado,come with me *+* "Get the heck away from me." Delrado says,charging through it and thundering out of the cave.Now,he ran.And he would'nt stop until he found her.
Then Sabrina stares at Delrado galloping by, she rolls her eyes. Then Corn saw a lone mare somewhere and trots up to her and invites her to follow Spirit with her and Sunset and Sabrina.
Delrado awoke to a eerie feeling in the air.He stood and shook,not able to rid of the feeling.His eyes went wide as he heard strange noises,causing him to gallop out of the cave clearly panicked and scared.He passed the group of mares from earlier and looked at them as he galloped,giving them a scared look.He continued on though,not stopping.
Warm Dry Winds
