| Chloe couldn't help but shake her head with a smile. to be honest her head still hurt a bit. "how's the kid?" she asked. she had completely forgotten to check up on the stable owners kid. after nearly running it over |
| "Came to see how you were coming along," Jaden mused, kicking a rock. |
| A smile crept onto Chloe's face "yeah, what gave you that idea" she joked. kind of to ease this strange feeling she felt |
| "Came to check on ya, seems you go discharged. Need a ride back?" He asked, sticking his hands in his pockets and glancing around. |
| Chloe looked up from her phone. it had died a little while ago. she saw the boy who'd visited her. "um, sitting here" she wasn't about to admit she needed help. plus shed never even gotten the guys name |
| Jaden had went to go check on the girl, seeing her outside the hospital. He pulled his truck up beside her, rolling down the passenger side window. "Uh...what're you doin'?" He asked, chuckling. |
| Chloe was soon discharged but had no way to get back to the ranch. She wasn't allowed to drive or anything yet. She sat at the hospital for a few hours |
| Feeling excited after riding Starlight made her less stressed as she slowed the horse down to a stop and dismounted. She grabbed the reins and led the horse to the grooming stall, untacked Starlight, and put Starlight's tack in the closet with the many other sets of riders' tack, then groomed her and put her halter on, and put her in her stall. Once Starlight was in her stall, the girl haltered Texas and led him to the tacking stall. Once he was tacked, she mounted and took Texas to the dressage arena. They stayed there and practiced for their upcoming show. |
| The man continued on with chores and such |
| Chloe looked at her phone as it went of she opened the message. it was bandit, he was standing at the gate of his pasture. chloe couldnt help but smile |
| Jaden saw Bandit in the pasture, snapping a picture and sending a picture to the number the girl gave him. |
| Chloe laid in the hospital. She wondered how bandit was going and couldn't help but check her phone, that guy had probably chucked her number out. She couldn't wait to get back to the stables. But even then she wouldn't be able to ride for at least a month. But when did she listen to doctors? |
| Jaden came back, untacking Loki and tacking up Dmtri's horse, Ranger. He hopped up, riding over to the jumping arena which just so happened to be next to the new girl. The man set the arena to 1.20 meters on all jumps, cantering the gelding a lap around the arena before bounding towards the jumps and clearing them all gracefully. His jeans stuck to him with sweat, the feeling making him cringe. |
| Once she had them all off the trailer and outside, she led them all together by their leads to their new stalls at the riding barn. She left the mare out so she could go try out the new training grounds with the mare, knowing she was easier to handle than the geldings. She tacked the mare known as Starlight up and mounted her, while walking her to the arena. Once at the arena, she warmed the mare up, moved into a canter, and went for the first jump, which she made successfully |
| The girl smiled as she looked at her beautiful horses, untieing the first mare, and led her off the trailer ramp and tied her to the side of the trailer's hook, going back in for the second horse and doing the same for the third, fourth, and fifth geldings. |
| A black Dodge and a large blue trailer pulled up with 5 horses in the trailer poking their heads outside the window, curious about their new surroundings, watching as they pulled to a stop, a 16-year-old girl stepped out of the truck went to the back of the trailer and gently layed down the ramp and unlocking the latch to the gate that kept the horses standing up. |
| Loki ran well, easing Jaden into a good mood form it. |
| He tacked up Loki in racing tack, hopping up and figuring it'd be fine if he wore jeans and beat up boots. |
| bandit was in his pasture. he'd been pacing the fence line nonstop since he'd been put in here after the ambulance took Chloe away. he hadn't stopped to eat or drink or anything. |
| "LOKI! CASH!" Jaden called, Cash sprinting over towards the pasture gate and Loki trotting behind. "Hey ya two," He murmured, haltering both and bringing them inside. |
| Angel galloped around her pasture. "Ahh. Fresh air, bright sun, shimering coat. ' she said. She lay down to soak up the sun, and fell asleep |
| chloe smiled and nodded. she hopefully she'd be out of the hospital soon. |
| Jaden nodded, taking in her features before standing. "Well I gotta go, three horses don't take care of themselves." He mused, leaving and heading back to the barn |
| she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding "thank you" she said softly |
| "Is fine, brought him back." Jaden explained, taking the slip and setting it in his pocket. |
| chloe smiled a little. she found a pen and a piece of paper and wrote her number down giving it to the bot before her mind went to bandit she sat up ignoring the wave of dizziness it caused "bandit?" |
| He shrugged. "Thought you were pretty," |
| chloe looked back towards him "you seriously want my number" she asked specifical "why" she had a hard ish time with trust when it came to people, but somehow could trust a horse with her life. |
| "But then I also came because I was wondering if I could maybe get your number?" Jaden asked. |
| Chloe listened. Of course no one would come at choice "yea ok" she said trying to hide the disappointment in her voice |
