| Remarks TFC Wilson Atkins, Jr. was fatally injured on July 3rd, 1988 after being struck by a passing vehicle during a violator stop. FC Wilson Atkins, Jr. was a dedicated member of the Arkansas State Police who tragically lost his life on July 3, 1988. He was struck and killed by a vehicle while issuing a ticket on I-40, near Brinkley. The incident occurred when another vehicle veered onto the shoulder and struck him, while he was explaining the citation to the driver. Atkins had served with the Arkansa |
