that's fair, i do wonder what the difference is between high lv horse/low lv rider vs same lv horse/rider but with zero show experience lol, because they seem to bomb even when the horse is scoring 100% or 0 faults due to the lack of rider experience
Gaelic Gladiacres
10:48:38 Gladius
awwwwww he sounds adorable! lol sounds a bit like my cat--he likes my hubby well enough but he's lowkey chopped liver to my cat when I walk in the door xD
Wolfs Ire

He's actually a menace to my husband. The moment my husband tries to pick him up he starts trying to kick him. Meanwhile I pick him up and he's an absolute angel. He's a solid black lion head with the tiniest white snip on his nose. And his mane is a dark gray almost blue

Yes if a rider is showing a horse at a higher level than them you will lose money as the rider is an experienced enough to handle a higher level horse
Nightingales Ridge
10:46:18 Issy
Fawn that's so cute and funny
Gaelic Gladiacres
10:46:16 Gladius
he's roleplaying the killer rabbit fawn XD
Gaelic Gladiacres
10:45:58 Gladius
yeah color rarity also plays a part for me issy xD I can't resist the under 500 color rarities... and especially 200 or below
Wolfs Ire
10:45:50 Fawn
My husband asked me where the rabbit was and I asked if he had looked at the top of the stairs. We both look up and he's just menacingly staring down at us from the top of the steps xD
Gaelic Gladiacres
10:45:28 Gladius
I think it's a bad idea to have riders show horses above their level? right?
Nightingales Ridge
10:44:47 Issy
Other wise I just get clogged up
Nightingales Ridge
10:44:23 Issy
Haha fair. I've kept a couple S's if they're pretty enough

is it better to have a rider with more experience showing horses that are a higher level than them, or hire a new rider at the same level as the horse but with 0 show experience...
Wolfs Ire
10:43:45 Fawn
Yeah I think the reason why most breeds that can't carry Appaloosa but have the pattern genes is because of wild horses. A majority of my TB herd for example is P2P2
Gaelic Gladiacres
10:42:42 Gladius
is it economical? no. is it a fun challenge? yeah haha
Gaelic Gladiacres
10:42:32 Gladius
yeah I'm kinda making it a thing for myself I guess, I wanna do some rescuing, so even my "terrible" horses as long as they have an S in one rating I figure they can earn their keep by showing, and hopefully eventually the others can earn me enough I can keep 'em. or at least if they go FR they had the chance to prove themselves lol
Nightingales Ridge
10:40:46 Issy
I've yeeted nearly 40 this year already
Nightingales Ridge
10:39:49 Issy
Lol aw Gladius that's a bit sweet actually
Gaelic Gladiacres
10:37:57 Gladius
ok. I guess I was just under the impression since I don't think they can have lp patterns (blankets etc) they wouldn't have them, but for crossing for sport horses I guess it makes sense they could be carriers
