The Old Gods
She's very expressive and requires paying close attention to her body language. With her, pinning her ears doesn't mean she's getting ready to be aggressive. It means she's unhappy about something

El Cuco
My boy is so insanely smart that he gets too bored for his own good and will specifically seek out anything he knows he is not supposed to do/have. As soon as you're okay with whatever he's trying to do, he doesn't want to do it anymore. Not fun if the human doesn't react.
Gaelic Gladiacres
clever little mares <3 you earn their trust and respect, there's no better partner (imo)
The Old Gods
My mare is...Something else. Lots of trauma, lots of boundaries, wickedly smart. She's the horse you explain what you're doing and she'll get it.
Dash and Duchess
Void, Oh i felt that xD Dash used to try and bite my ass every time i'd pick his feet, every time he'd get offended when i blocked his nose xD
Gaelic Gladiacres
LOL void. I love all their little quirks--my mare, 100% guaranteed, without fail, will insta-dunk her hay in whatever water she has. kind of annoying but also hilarious for her consistency
The Old Gods
The other day, he was standing at the gate going into his pen and wouldn't move. Ignored voice/hand gestures. So, I lightly flicked him on the muzzle. He was OFFENDED.
The Old Gods
It's actually pretty funny. He'll go and sulk at mom if I discipline him
Ranch Lands Training
I started my jumper under saddle at 3 and jumped at 4 and was jumping a meter maybe 1.10 at 5. My 4 year old right now was only started last May and has been in super slow work. She spent the summer pasture/fence checking and then moved into arena work this winter
The Old Gods
Rocky is really mom's horse. But I help her out with him in terms of training
