| I think the new gold is more true to real life - pretty sure historically a lot of gold champagnes were put down as palominos before gene testing/we knew about champagnes |

| while I wasn't really lookig for those gold horses, I did like the old look better. now Horses look like someone bleached them. |

| Asfa Oh, I didn't know about that! So thats why people seem to love frame for RIDs so much. Makes sense! Also, fully agree about the variants. That's what rerolls are for, and avoiding certain genes is possible too if someone really hates a color. I didn't have any strong feelings about that coat in either direction, but will miss it a bit. |

| Because the look of the existing color was the problem in question. It was just a color update, not a huge change |

| I couldn't even find the poll that the news mentioned so it must have been a while back. I don't see why it couldn't have just been a variant like what amber got. Existing horses wouldn't get ruined but players could roll for the new colour if they wanted to. Everyone would be happy. Raven RIDs had the same thing with frame. |

| Asfa I think thats what happened with TB/AA and tobi, sort of? But it only did so we can't capture them with tobi, it didn't affect any already existing horses which is why those breeds can still have tobi. I think your RIDs are safe <3 |

| well the result is from a player poll a while ago so we did know about it. Majority voted it out so you will have to just calm down and find another favorite. |

| I wish we at least got advance warning for big changes like this, even for just a day. Now I'm scared I could log in any day and find something else gone, like Eve suddenly decided RIDs don't have tobiano anymore to comply with breed standards and all my tobis just get nerfed. |
