| Futurities are a separate showing league specifically for yearlings. You can only enter a horse at the time of breeding, and then you show them 3 times a week regardless of training. Fut foals get put into separate shows with only other fut foals so they compete against the same training weeks all the time. There's a leaderboard for each discipline. SD futurity LBs will update for each horse each day, but an eventing foal's points will only update on the leaderboard once they've competed in all 3 disciplines that week. The prize pot for each futurity is then split among the top 5 foals- 50% for 1st, 20% for 2nd and then 10% each for 3rd, 4th and 5th |
