| Really good, Lilly! We gave everybody extra salt before it started, I gave them some more yesterday, so the horses are drinking more than usual, plus we blanketed the crap out of them, so everybody is warm and happy for the most part. Minus me yesterday dumping and cleaning water buckets in 9 degree weather 😠|

| Question? Is the event tack/decor items account bound or can they my gifted and sold? Like if I'm looking for Halloween or Xmas stuff, can I get them from someone or have to wait until the next event? |

| Oh, that's a good one. When I lived on the northside (away from the good vets), I had to convince a few horses out of colics just by syringing saltwater and gatorade and banamine into them until they cleared up. A lot cheaper than my new vets but also more haphazard 💀 |

| I credit most of my success to Omega Alpha Electrolyte tubes. I was giving her two a day. I think that was enough energy to give her some will to live and pull through It was just an impcation colic so I just focused and keeping her from rolling to much and keeping her hydrated without too much food on top of the impaction |

| The only vets in the area that were willing to work with our alpacas and actually *listen* retired lmao apologized profusely but couldn't keep on anymore |

| I'm so grateful for my current vet. It's part of the reason I don't think I'm moving ever, too many horror stories of vets in other areas. |

| I phoned the next morning to give an update and diagnosed her over the phone with organ failure and said we should put her down. Turns out she was shaking because she was cold and needed another blanket For a week straight I just experimented and told myself "If this kills her she was going to die anyways" |

| I had one vet out and she disregarded EVERYTHING I said, and told me I was being dramatic. Wouldn't even do blood tests. Couple weeks later she went down hill and ended up dying of kidney failure 🥲 |
