Sounds like an instructor I had my freshman year. It was freshman comp 1 and we picked from a list of topics to write a paper on. I chose "how children learn language". He then stated that he didn't want a child development paper, he wanted a language paper. I couldn't find shit. Went to the college library asking for help. I had two different librarians trying to help me find something for probably an hour and a half. Ultimately, the head librarian said that the instructor was setting his students up to fail and to report him.

It basically is already bare bones because it is an entire scientific paper that we have to condense to one page. She tells me to add details about things then says it is unnecessary in the next feedback. ALso keeps asking questions about information that is clearly stated in the paper
