fire - SD geldings, a bunch of them.

CS is a form of birth control, so the mare doesn't come into season/can't be bred

Oh yeah okay forgot about that okay thank you! I think i got it now lol

CS+Cycle Suppressant. Kind of like a mare version of gelding but its temporary.
Lemon Farms
Well yeah i know that but they are foals now which is why i said that lol
Lemon Farms
Usagi haha i have so many foals who are from the same sire or dam XD gonna need to flip everything no issue but still i had a whole plan

So mares and stallions in the same pasture will breed, but only those. Mares + geldings is fine, stallions and geldings is fine, and obviously foals or CS mares can't breed. Stallions and mares put together in a pasture will breed "the natural way" and any foals they produce will automatically be placed in your first available barn or pasture slot.

Oh my gosh, I totally confused myself thinking the barns and arenas cost different amounts. I went back to that page to check and low and behold, they're the same amount.
Lemon Farms
Passive breeding....?? Your telling me i gotta move all these foals into a barn if i dont want them breeding each other? Oh no my thought out plan is not so thought out haha

I've just started growing hay myself this game year so I found all that out very recently myself. Pastures are really good and I think the only downsides are you can't capture directly into them and you have to make sure not to put stallions and mares together if you don't want passive breeding.
