| I raised mini rex. Since they were dwarfs, usually 1-2 per litter were "peanuts" who got the double dwarf gene and were too small to live. I don't breed anymore, though, it made me sad as I got older. |

| Yeah, sadly it is. It's why rabbits have large litters. It's very rare for all the kits to live. |

| When I raised rabbits, sometimes it appeared that the mother was eating the babies. But in reality, the babies were weak and dying. The moms were nipping them in a desperate attempt to wake them up. It was so sad but unfortunately, it's common with rabbits :( |
