That just feels unprofessional, ven >>;
Stormsong Manor
Chatspeak just looks immature and uneducated, no matter how intelligent the person actually is

Lily, am sure it does make mod jobs easier! Been a while since I read the part about chatspeak, but the only one I remember being said to be ok was LOL since it is so very common.
Angels angels
Buckeye I don't lol I have never been into social media or media period so I don't know a lot of them. And even the ones I do know it is quite annoying. I am also a grammar snob a little though
Bug in a Rug
Jericho Ah that's fair Was more thinking about why it makes sense to keep it like that even with the lower age requirement
Full Stride Farm
I understand most of the chat abbreviations, even as an "old geezer" but they annoy me
Alpine Acres
That's definitely part of the reason Buckeye. I think it makes life easier for the mods as well
Cloud Peak Stables
Even as an English speaker, I fully appreciate that people have to write out their words.
Angels angels
English is my first and only language and I don't even understand a good amount of chatspeak
Full Stride Farm
Might be wrong, but I think one of the reasons the chat speak rule was put into play was because of having a number of players that don't have English as their primary language. So some of them were struggling with understanding some of the chat words not spelled out completely. I have a real life, Dutch friend from the Netherlands, who speaks English just fine, but she does still struggle sometimes with writing it, and if words are not spelled out completely, she has trouble understanding what somebody meant
