I halter trained mine, cause I wanted to do 4H with them, but sadly couldn't. The one, I named him Vibin' Blue, once gt out of his pen, and walked right up to our house, mooing, even though he just had a bottle. I was two minutes late with his walk.

Its so funny when people train cows to be ridden like horses with tack and everything lol. I saw a story where this chick even turned her heifer into a jumper
Lucky Ducky Lane
I want to ride a cow. Would so ride one of those buckets through a drive through
Shipyards
Lilly We got our calves for less than 30 a piece, less than 20 actually. My parents went to some cheap ass auction place. Yes, they were also vet tested, just to be safe. All cleared, and purebred.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my girls. But the only thing they're good for is pooping. And babies I guess, those are fun
Ranch Lands Training
I love our useless Lama, for the vibes. I don't think I could own or be responsible for one. Same goes for Alpacas
Lucky Ducky Lane
At least they're useful 🤣 Alpacas are actually the worst livestock I've ever come across
Ranch Lands Training
Pet cows are pretty chill if you have the room. But don't go into it full time, it's expensive and time consuming 😂
Lucky Ducky Lane
Ohhhh okay. We have too many animals already to consider cows, as much as I would love a few lol
Ranch Lands Training
Ship - I don't mind bottle feeding. I work with Holstein and Jersey. But we personally raise Hereford, Simmental, and I have two Highlands
Ranch Lands Training
Lucky - It does feel diabolical. It's more my husbands things but I think we get around 3k for fully grown fat steers
Lucky Ducky Lane
$1400 for a calf feels diabolical lmao Granted I am not at all versed with the cattle market
Shipyards
Lilly Steal da baby. I've bottlefed all of my calves, sweetest babies, and it's a good bonding thing. We've had Jerseys, Holsteins, an Angus, a Jersey-Swiss (I think that's what he was).
