| If it says 'silver' in the name it could be Zz or ZZ. If it is not gene tested and one of the parents isn't silver you can be certain that it is not ZZ (however, keep in mind that red based horses hide silver - so even an ordinary chestnut could be ZZ). Many colour breeders, like myself, put it in the name of the horse if we know they are homo for a gene (like ZZ, ToTo, LpLp...) |

| Like this one; under its name it says “brown splash white” if one horse says “silver splash white” etc can I use that for the quest or do I need to see if it’s got a ZZ gene in their testing? -HEE Click- |

| Thank you so much Min, I have a quest for ZZ foal. This is gonna sound so silly as I’ve done this one before but I’ve taken some time off doing quests & just being online for a little bit! Do I look at their colour testing or their name? For example if a horse says “silver copper bay” could I use that or do I need to look into their testing to see if they’ve been colour tested? I’m so sorry if that doesn’t make sense. |
