| I was always told I had a normal childhood, but hearing how other people spent their childhood made me realized I had a lot of challenges other kids didn't. Sure, it could have been worse, but people tell me I'm lucky because given the circumstances I should have ended up a drug addict. |

| also being an adult and looking back makes you realize even more how insane your childhood was like how did my mother feel ok doing that?? and why did nobody intervene? ill never understand it lol and cant go back and change it but i can make sure its not repeated! |

| lucky ugh me too. I always acted my best out of fear, but somehow still always got the worst even if I did nothing. Id love to know how id be today if I grew up normal |

| i think a lot about how much happier and well behaved i would have been as a kid if my needs were met lol like i wasnt bad, but any emotions or even normal behavior were punished really severely im going to do so much better with my kids |
