Fawn
Oh of course they would try lol no doubt about that

Our water snake will eat either live fish or frozen thawed :)
Angels angels
08:49:20 [1k+ brindles] Angel
I would see if you can find someone with a monitor or snapping turtle, or something like that lol
All Breeds
08:49:00 Fawn
My kingsnakes would still try Angel xD
Greenheart Stables
08:48:27 Gren|Grenlin|Snek
Mm maybe I can scramble them and see if he will eat them like that? Ive seen a different species of snake mess up a slice of salmon so something similar.
Angels angels
08:47:42 [1k+ brindles] Angel
Yeah thats true
But I think they would be too big anyays
All Breeds
08:46:23 Fawn
Maybe if you cut it open a bit prior?
All Breeds
08:45:51 Fawn
For the most part no. Given the texture of BP eggs they pose a choking/impaction hazard.
Angels angels
08:43:22 [1k+ brindles] Angel
They could if they aren't too big lol
Greenheart Stables
08:42:59 Gren|Grenlin|Snek
... can a California kingsnake eat them 👀 I feel like it would make a cool treat
Angels angels
08:42:43 [1k+ brindles] Angel
Oh yeah I like the using them as food thing
All Breeds
08:41:49 Fawn
They may still be healthy and viable and someone may want to hatch them to keep as pets in some cases or may use them if they have egg eating lizards/snakes
Angels angels
08:41:45 [1k+ brindles] Angel
I guess just for me, there is nothing wrong with it in any way, but throwing out perfectly good eggs hurts my soul xD
Greenheart Stables
08:40:30 Gren|Grenlin|Snek
Ooh can I ask why give them away before disposing?
All Breeds
08:38:02 Fawn
Agreed with Angel. See if you could find someone first however I will say that out of 5 eggs that my female laid 2 were slugs and one was fertilized but didn't develop. So I had 2 successful out of "5"
Angels angels
08:36:43 [1k+ brindles] Angel
But I will say normally first time layers don't lay more than around 6. I think 4 is what it normally is. Unless the female is absolutely massive. And sometimes even some of the 4-6 could be slugs

No there is nothing wrong with cutting it down to more manageable size. I would maybe see if you could find a breeder willing to take the eggs before just throwing them out but no thats not bad.

@Angel
Definitely, im currently saving for a shed kit now.
Though I do have a question. Would it be considered a bad this to cull a clutch right after being laid? Turning a 8+ clutch into 4-2? As a quantity control
