People are generally scared of anything unknown. So when you grow up with parents who are also scared and aren't taught otherwise, it carries. That's why nature centers and animal ambassadors are such a big thing. |

Fish, Yep! And that's what we teach. Never, ever interact with bats. Naturally, they leave you alone! They're not aggressive. :) Always call animal control if one is found injured. Their immune systems are MEANT to suppress all indication of rabies, so you'll literally never know and it won' t kill them. They won't attack you. But all bets are off if you try to touch them, they may be scared and bite. |

I have seen all three animated how to train your dragons movies, but not the live action. First one is easily one of my favourite movies of all time, was not a big fan of the third one though. |

Glacier YES! I don't care if it is for kids, I love it |
Dash and Duchess |
Versa, how does one mix up a snow leopard and cheetah 💀 that's hilarious, it seems like it would take some serious effort to do xD |
Hummingbird Meadows |
@Versa, just curious, do they get rabies vaccines? I am guessing they wouldn't have it unless they were exposed to it from an outside source, but just honestly curious. |
Red Horizon Ranch |
Bird Ugh yes insurance is such an unfortunate factor. Dealing with insurance is the only thing I dislike about my job honestly. |
Hummingbird Meadows |
@Glacier, I love the animated version! I am worried about the live action... |

Bird, Bats are cute! We handle these babies with bite proof gloves, but a few members are decently sweet. :) |
Glacier Bay Cove |
Speaking of bats and cats, has anyone seen the how to train your dragon movies |

Sam, Everyone was concerned about me but to be honest, I was trying sooo hard not to laugh right in his face... Same goes for the dude who was trying to convince me a snow leopard I was working with was better off in the wild. Except... he called said snow leopard, a cheetah. All credibility from him immediately perished lol |

Versa Oof, that is crazy. I myself am slightly afraid of bats, but people really just like to make them out to be the devil for some reason. Don't touch bats, go to the hospital if you find one in your room after you wake up, and you'll be fine. |
Hummingbird Meadows |
@Glacier, they believe false stereotypes like bats flying in their hair. People feel the same way about snakes. Can't tell you how many times people want to know why I would choose to own a pet snake. |

Artificial chemicals doesn't mean harmful. You can make NaCl in a lab through chemical reaction. It's still the same compound with the same properties. I just don't really like when people speak of the danger of "chemicals" but can't name any of them. If you don't know their names, how do you know they're harmful? |
