| Ahhh. Yeah... I can understand the mortars being uncomfortable. Or the screechy ones. I tend to cover my ears for those, otherwise my ears twinge in juuuust the right way to be obnoxious. I launch mortars over the lake, though. No rooftops to land on there, and FAR fewer people. |

| I also had a super cute moment. A kid across the street, I'd say about the age of 10? Had never played with a firework before. He walked over with his mama and she asked if he could play with one because he never had before. I gave them one of my inexpensive, full packages. He was having an absolute blast. It was adorable. |

| I wasn't in the middle of the street, encroaching on their space, or being irresponsible. Honestly I'm about to go back out there and tell them to cork it, and let them call the police. I mean, what are the police gonna do? I'm not endangering anyone and quiet hours aren't a thing tonight |

| Not a fan of the Fourth. I've had animals and veterans around my whole life and no one finds the booms fun. Horses running through fences or being absolutely terrorized by fireworks being launched directly over stalls/paddocks. Private fireworks are just not worth it to me. I guess I can understand the two seconds of 'wonder and awe', but the thousands of dollars and terrifying a percentage of the population... To each their own. |

| Eve, I could understand that being a bother. Sadly, my neighbours came outside and threatened to call police on me over *roman candles* and crackle balls... Not even mortars. Just teeny tiny stuff |

| I genuinely think she's just grouchy to be grouchy. Clearly she enjoys the Fourth if her yard and car are both decorated. I am *by far* not the noisiest one on this street, that'd be the mortars a few houses down. |
