we do not really have a huge thing for English though. Most of our barns are rodeo or western. Northwest Arkansas and Central Arkansas are where you will find most of the jumping. Everyone else does flat classes.

But you don't do hunter jumper. Yes it's encompassing. But that's like saying I do cross country when that's not a thing. You can do cross country schooling but usually with a purpose like for eventing. It's a total pet peeve.

This is my girl, Sophie, in her ranch tack. It is actually working tack. I tried to get pictures of her in English and then playing polo from my phone but it will not work, so. -Click-

But yeah. Year and a half of work, and she came running up to me this morning and was nickering. First time she's ever done that

I am not sure why. All the shows label it as such, everyone calls it as such, so that is what I am used to calling it. There’s even this that calls it that calls it that too. And that is our official Association for it. -Click-

I love Shires & Clydesdales… owning one is most likely never gonna happen but they are gorgeous horses

She has fear aggression, so she had a bit of a reputation when she was bought. I started working with her early last year and it's taken me over a year to get to this point with her.

Hunter Jumper isn't a thing. There's Hunter - how cohesive you look as a Hunter (over fences, under saddle with lots of variations like Medals and Classics and Derbies) Jumpers - How fast you can go around the course (although there are Optimum Time classes) Equitation - How correct your posture is over fences and unders addle

I wish I could keep whisk with me. Residential neighborhood. But he is super happy where he is at. So even if I moved to a farm I would still keep him there.

x) so, obviously, I picked the horse with trust issues and ๐trauma ๐

Yeah. I believe the closest barn who teaches English is half an hour away from me, and I keep my mare at my house so there's really no reason for me to haul her over there. I've only been doing English for a few years, and I learned the basics from my aunt, and then just watched other people

I was paying 500 for me to do all the work and feeding and the only thing it included was hay. They kept the horses stalled 24/7 and if the owner could not get out to exercise them it was too bad so sad. That was with my last horse My current horse? 425 a month and full care and he is out in a pasture. When he is not in time out lol.

I use to do riding and fell in love with a little chestnut pony and literally wanted to buy her. I’d love to own one! Then again I think my choice of horse wouldn’t be suited for my height xD
