| I'm going to ask urgent care their thoughts. The lady I just spoke with on the phone suggested maybe an ER instead, since I do have heart damage from an allergic reaction to the Covid vaccine. Is it true food poisoning can speed up heartrate? |

| Glacier, Thank you for your well wishes. I do have ginger ale left over from my prior encounter with Covid. Ginger is a natural remedy for stomachaches no matter how small the amount, so if that cooperates with my stomach, I could try that. |

| If I put it in the fridge to cool it off, will that be enough to avoid harming it, if I have a family member move it to the freezer for me later? The fridge shouldn't harm it, but immediate freezing could. |

| Yes. Best to freeze anything soon as possible for freshness. I am so strict on leftovers now too |

| Oh yikes. I usually try to ignore my illness and toughen up. I didn't know food poisoning could last that long. Thank you for the warning, Bio. I'll keep it in the fridge overnight and if this continues over the next day or so, I'll freeze it. It's an expensive meal. |

| Hopefully stroganoff will save well as leftovers. I'd be happy to eat it in a couple of days when I improve. But I can't have it tonight and I don't want that psychological switch in my brain going off if I DO eat it. |

| Puck, For sure, food won't stay. Sucks because I started stroganoff for myself to enjoy this morning, before all of this started. Drank some water, ate some eggs because I was hungry, and bam- hit me like a semi. Water tastes like yuck at the moment, so I've moved on to Gatorade, and THAT seems to stay, at least. |
