Win And speaking of pets, I adore my gelding. He's about mid-age, 15 years old. I've had him for a few years now, and he is my entire world. Anyways, a few months ago (on my birthday), he was playing in a pasture like horses do, bucked and spun and landed wrong - completely shattered his front left pastern. I was sooo scared because I thought we'd have to put him down. So, my trainer called an equine hospital, and there was a semi-new surgery they could try, but there were no guarantees. I swear, I had never cried so much in such a short amount of time. The vet told me after the surgery that they had done everything they could, and now it was up to him. The past few months, he's been happy, still so full of life. He's been cleared to go home, and I'm just so excited. I'm on vacation right now for my niece's birthday, but I'm gonna be home in a few weeks, so then he'll be able to come home. Sorry for the random "vent" lol. I'm super happy with the news, and have no friends to share it with ;-; |

Rose - I seldom breed to wilds, as like you say, they aren't proven yet. Even with the best of lines, breeding is a gamble. |

Win Aww! How big is he? lol. My senior is actually a German shepherd cross - Black lab/German Shepherd x Golden Retreiver |

Win Yes, I suppose that's all we could ever ask for with pets. He lived a long, happy life, and honestly, as sad as it is to say, you'll always have the memories of him. In my opinion, old age is the best way for them to go out, if that's not an insensitive thing to say? |

Shamrock At least he's happy and lived a long life (and I hope he will live even longer). You know, he's actually giant for a German Shepherd- |

Win Trust me, I do too. My friend told me she had a red German shepherd, so I obviously looked that up and then somehow found a picture of a Panda German Shepherd lol. They're sooo pretty |

Just a random player question- how many of you wait to breed your HEE horses during a capture month until AFTER capture day to get some fresh blood in your lines? Or do you not even bother waiting to breed to wilds since wild lines usually aren't as strong and proven? |

Win And that's a good deal for him - 50 dollars. She must have been desperate lol |
