Ravenwood Farm
What I do is let her show them on their first day, and then I do it myself the next days. I can hand enter a whole boatload of horses pretty fast that way. Works really well for me as I have around 1200 show horses
The Pirate King
entering a handful of stragglers that are green isn't going to make much of a difference for my profit
The Pirate King
she handles all my dressage and some of my xc horses. i shove them off on her, hand show the rest, and call it a day
Ravenwood Farm
With SD she still enters horses that are nearly ready but still not good enough. She still makes a profit, but I'd rather spend 5-10 minutes myself to enter the actual good ones when she's done with the dirty work. It's nice we can use her the way we prefer
Tamarack Mountain
if you have not hit your show limit for the week yet is is a good idea
Ravenwood Farm
I find she's more useful for test showing, so I don't have to manually check if 1200 horses are ready or not
Bermuda Estate
I took my loan Ona hack to somewhere he’d never been before :,) he was so brave
Tamarack Mountain
it's a good idea to pop back and check all your managed horses after the showing days scheduled, I almost always will find some in the money with another show to do yet for the week
The Pirate King
well, she does handle them badly if you're wanting your horses to get into 3 shows per week. whole point of her is to show so you don't have to
Ravenwood Farm
That's entirely fair, but I feel it's not fair to then go and say she does bad with eventers
The Pirate King
i don't like having to go behind her to enter into shows, so she just handles the sd. i hate showing eventers in general, so i don't bother
Vahana Hollow
A part of me was about to break down crying if I had missed something with her not doing something for eventers, ahaha.
Vahana Hollow
Oh, but then you just manually enter the ones who still can show anyway after? Not that she doesn't necessarily "do bad" with eventers, then.
