| thats amazing angel. my sister was 9 when she was diagnosed. it was around Easter. she lost over 15lbs in a week, wouldnt eat our "easter candy" sick as can be. Our parents kept taking her to the drs and they kept claiming a stomach bug, after so long they tested her blood sugar and she was close to 900. over two weeks in the hospital, everyones world flipped upside down, Our parents having to learn to take care of her and her how to take care of herself. It's not easy. |

| I saw a really cool story the other day where this little girl was at a friends house and the friend's mom's diabetic alert dog would not leave the girl alone no mater what they did. The friend's mom told the girls parents and they were able to get her diagnosed before she even had any issues or showed signs (besides drinking alot and urinating alot) It was pretty cool |

| sounds like a omnipod. It may not be working. best wishes to your sister <3 I wouldn't doubt she has keytones as well. it's not fun. |

| normal can be between 70-130 ish, i may be a bit off. when my sister was diagnosed she was close to 900 and borderlining having to be in a coma. |
