Ugh, Cali, I feel so bad. So here is how it went About 9 years ago, when I was 8, I decided that's its time to get my own horse, and that im tired of riding my barn's horses. My mom agreed with me, and said that we could search for a cheap one. We found a Dutch Warmblood mare, called Spinach, she was 8, and by the photos and videos she seemed amazing and calm. She was a bay pinto.... So we bought her, of course, I was happy and excited to ham MY OWN horse. We did jumping and dressage. The old owner said she was scared of the water. We started competing, and she was with me until last year. She was 16, and we decided that its time to retire her, so we signed up to our last competition... It wasn't with me, though, my friend was gonna ride her, but it was a cross country, with out a water pond/jump to go over/through... We went to the competition with her, and my friend was already there. After she (my friend) warmed up Spinach, it was their turn straight away... But on one of the middle jumps, she got a small rock in her hooves, and on the jump that was a bit uphill, she tripped over it (the jump) and her neck bend over (twisted ?) She did survive, and we got her to the hospital, wasted tons of money, and tons of tears.. But the surgeons couldn't help her, they did what they could, but it was "Too hard" as the doctors said, even though, im sure, they could of helped her.. She would of been with us, in her paddock, right now, if not for that dumb surgeon... |
