| When I raised rabbits, sometimes it appeared that the mother was eating the babies. But in reality, the babies were weak and dying. The moms were nipping them in a desperate attempt to wake them up. It was so sad but unfortunately, it's common with rabbits :( |

| They absolutely do still nurse with mom, just in the best interest of the little guys to have them here to make sure they’re getting enough. I can’t wait until they’re a bit older and open their eyes. |

| Athena - we had a dog that ate most of her pups as well. She was doing it, so we were told by the Vet, that she was lacking some essential vitamins/minerals. It happens sometimes. |
