Just like the eventing ratings, a horse is born/captured with it's bravery rating. Nothing can change it.

My problem with exploring is when you rate a horse it should rate the bravery at the same time.
It's really silly the only way to test bravery isn't the breeding approvals.
You have to waste 30 minutes every day waiting to find out, and you sit on them when they are 1 years old to even know if they possibly will rate good.
