| Thicc it's homozygous for one of the appy genes. A horse needs Lp + at least one patn gene to have an appy pattern. If they have Lp without a patn gene, they'll have appy in their color description but no pattern. If they just have a patn gene, it's just something they carry, meaning they could produce appy foals with a mate with Lp. |
