I swear it's always the ones you don't expect xD I'll definitely have a look for pellet wormer though- I could do without the shenanigans again and it would be much better for them to not have stress over it too

matching my two WWW mares without spending $$$,$$$ on stud fees this RO is going to be the death of me. i blew my whole bank account last month and im still recovering lol
Gaelic Gladiacres
ooooh. that is very tempting... a very brief google suggests paste is more fast acting and pellets are for longer-term maintenance type stuff but I'm sure that depends on which types, what parasites are generally in your area, your horse(s)... all that fun jazz lol
Narran Park
Im not sure what its like where you are Void? But the Pellet Wormer only comes in one type here...Doesnt cover the Strongyles i dont think... But we have loads of room and rotate pastures regularly...so i only worm as needed, not by strict rotation.

aw poor Minnie :( hilariously our big beefy RID stud was like the best behaved of them all lmao but the mare just took the crown on misbehavior that time
Gaelic Gladiacres
for the pellets, void, is that like a daily thing or a "for a period" every so often? just curious

Bad vibes lol Gladius! Minnie gave up once she realised gymnastics weren't making me let go, but then she did have a big choke episode when she was eating her dinner afterwards! Ended up having to bring Ted in and back him into a corner as he just wasn't having it
The Feral Equine
My two geldings are good! Hank just is like oh this again and Tater pins his ears but lets you med him.
Gaelic Gladiacres
she doesn't usually have issues so no idea what was going on that night with her
Gaelic Gladiacres
min - I was shocked, our most level headed chilled IDSH went absolutely bananas. it took probably half an hour to get her to take it, and a grain bribe. she was lowkey threatening to kick my dad. we were shocked
ShiningStar Stables
Dire Of course! If you have any issues or questions feel free to PM me :)

I didn't half have trouble doing mine with paste a couple of months ago. Ironically the feral one was the best behaved- the big two practically turned themselves inside out to avoid it
Gaelic Gladiacres
khaos - oh yeah no it's very much a thing. my mom still deals with it and I'm not convinced I don't. plus people get flares pretty often. saying there's no such thing as chronic Lyme is total bogus in my opinion but there aren't very many "Lyme literate" doctors out there, although there've been improvements in that over the year. at least now the CDC acknowledges "post-treatment Lyme syndrome" or whatever BS they call it...
