My brother has fish tanks. He thought they'd be 'easy'. What a joke on him. One is over-run with snails now and he's had to get Assassin snails to get rid of the others. He also tends to have too many fish. He over feeds them as well, then bitches that the water stinks and he has to change it all the time. He's a doof.
Versa I don't think it's heartless I just think it's carelessness or ignorance :P most people are taught fish are easy so they just take care of them like it's nothing -_-
Iris, I too had an oldie. He lived until 8 or 9. I think a lot of people are too heartless to want to have a fish for that long though, despite it being their proper lifespan, and doom it to a tiny bowl.
It hurts every time people believe that fish can just be put in those awful single gallon bowls... Bettas are tropical, as are many other fish, and require heat.
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
