| Gem, arabians are good too, and really any part arabs. Nice and hardy, and great for endurance riding. For light riding, honeslty you could ride just about any breed :) Just do your research on the horse, get a vet check, and find something with a level head |

| snow, honestly depends on you , id definetly do my homework on it, and lease some horses prior to buying one - but ive had alot of luck with appys, canadians as well , depends what you wanna do with them , but im biased with quarter horses ngl ive done a lot with mine xD |

| Gem, I obviously recommend QHs (maybe I'm biased) but TWHs are good too, I also love saddlebreds because theyre so versitile |

| oh the fly mask is a battle i have given up with my mare xD shes outside 24/7 and where i board her - her paddock is abit in a weird spot for wind, theirs huge gusts of wind up to like 30 and even 50km/h so she doesnt complain about her blanket xD and her paddock mates are nice as well and dont destroy her blankets like some of the other horses on the property lol |

| spring, yea some horses love to be blanketed lol when i did coop their was one horse that wouldnt leave his stall unless he had a blanket on - the second it started getting the slightest bit cold lol i swear if he could, hed be bunddled under an anctuall blanket xD |

| Same Mellow!! My QH gelding is a tank, so he's been find with the cold. No blanket for him though, he would take it off xD I can barelly keep a UV/fly mask on him |

| lilly, yes extra feed is always a must in this weather! luckily i have a very tough little quarter horse that identifies as a wooly mammoth during winter xD although shes blanketed for extra protection against the wind and to stay dry lol |
