Yeah just go for basic necessities and thats it such as hay, show fees, and breeding fees if you plan on breeding along with saving up money to buy more solid horses (I recommend using the savings account because out of sight out of mind)

Made all those mistakes on this account and it ended up holding me back for a while :) If you wanna make a solid amount of money start with a gelding army of PPP+ geldings or SD (single discipline) geldings but you can also focus on building a good breeding stock and stud and brood out your horses. Brooding out would be best because unless your stud is WWW you wont make much off him and for a brood mate go for an EEE+ because you can make a small amount of money off of an EEE mare (about 1-3k)
fawn I second all of that. Also, don't waste your money on things like tack and treats, as those are nearly useless. Savor you rerolls as well, unless you plan on buying more
Pine Also since youre new just a heads up its best not to spend all your money on captures instead go to the auction house and school masters cant show (made that mistake once) and only give riders a boost when it comes to the rider training and school masters are level 10 in one or more of these disciplines D, XC, J
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
