| Gotcha! I absolutely love it there. The locals are always super nice. I usually go in the off season, that way it's not as crowded. Luckily it's not as "big" as the OBX and Nags Head. |

| Fang, For real! I saw the most relatable meme about the weather here in VA...of course now I can't find it nor remember, but it was basically saying how many fake seasons there are. I'm certain that spring and fall are wayyyy shorter....I just can't prove it yet haha. Lyra, I like VA. Really depends on the part of the state, but that could be said for any state I'm sure. I actually go to NC for the beaches there, I love it. The crazy thing is, some older neighbors of mine actually retired and move to Florida years ago, and it was actually cooler there on some of the really hot days here in VA. I was jealous lol |

| VA was on our list of places to possibly move. We are still in PA and want to go more south but I don't think I can go full blown Florida. VA and NC are top choices so far |

| Lyra, Oh gosh, I feel for you! I used to work at a few different barns a few years back, but even when I was working at them, it was never as hot it was last year. I've lived in VA my entire life, and it's never been as hot as it was last year. I've had multiple people in my family say the same thing, because I figured that maybe it had been that hot before and I just forgot, but nope. |

| I don't do well in the heat much anymore, but I also don't do well when it's really cold. I've got a herniated disc and pinched nerve in my neck, plus discs that have some degeneration present, so no matter the weather, I can always count on my neck being stiff lol. But I'm pretty sure I've got the start of arthritis in my wrist. It's always something... |

| I work on a horse farm too so if this summer is a repeat of the last two..ugh. As a kid I don't remember Pennsylvania being this brutal. |

| I understand that, Lyra! I had to get a window AC unit last year for my room because the house AC unit just couldn't keep up. It was so bad. I'll give you my outdoor 90 degree weather, Gren! lol! I only like hot days when I'm on the beach. Right now, I'd go for a good day anywhere from 65-80, with no humidity. That's the worst here is how humid it can be. |
