@Monty Yeah I trust them, been using them for a while now. Chicks are fatter then the rats and ASFs I feed them, so it be more a treat. I just want to try birds like chickens and quail to add some extra enrichment and to see if my pickier snake might like something new. I just wanted a second opinion. Thanks!

Gren As long as you know where the birds are supplied from, i.e not wild, I would say it's safe. The main concern being that birds are prone to carrying parasites and diseases in the wild, so if you trust the supplier then I'd say go for it. I have heard it's not good to rely on them as their only food though

@Monty Thoughts on throwing froze thawed chicks into a Ball pythons diet? The supplier who I get Rodents from offer chicks and quails and wanted thoughts since birds do make up a apart the ball pythons natural diet. And I know 2 of the one's I got will eat if offered

BlackRose
Oh woah, it sounds like she has a good little side thing going there I’m sure people in the area would buy cups of roaches for their reptiles or animals

90% popcorn 10% roaches xD oh the image I got in my head of a little roach pressed against the glass and popcorn just all in the tank xD
BlackRose
Oh my god xD the Dubia roaches like “yeaaaaaaaah! Movie time, let’s gooooo!” Lol
The Old Gods
I'll walk in and the damn tank will just be filled to the brim with popcorn lol. In a few days they'll eat it all down.

He had his in a pretty deep container with egg cartons and just throws veg into them! Which tbh is the easiest thing and his bred like crazy
The Old Gods
Mom has a colony in a 10gal tank, filled the bottom with shredded paper/cardboard and feeds them fruit/veggie table scraps. Apparently, they also love unseasoned popcorn
BlackRose
To be fair I watch a guy called exotic lairs on YouTube and he has a dubia roach colony and he shows you the setup for them etc which originally sparked my idea off
