The turkeys were on the table weren't they

They had quails a couple of years ago but apparently those are evil and just actively murder each other so they told me to leave those be and they'd sort whatever had happened to them out when they got back (after like 2 days- they'd stocked them up on food and water etc not like left them to die xD)

I love birds of all kinds but when I was little, I was terrified of turkeys, and we stayed at my uncle's for Christmas with two of his turkeys missing from their run, and I thought they were going to come get me while I slept.

OMG the freaking vultures. I saw them the other day. They just lurk in the area. They were on the roof of a house down the street. And I saw them another time early early in the morning. They were in the bushes on the side of the road. I thought it was a deer so slowed down then they came hopping out. -10/10. Do not recommend big ass vultures.

Same as sheep Bird lol. I look after my honey-producing neighbours' birds when they go away on occasion and fuck me I'm so uncomfortable. They used to have a horse so I didn't mind it but he died so its now just a billion chickens (which ironically are the least awful part), some geese and some ducks. They had turkeys last time as well which freaked me the fuck out, and I'm petrified of geese too it turns out xD

At one time, I had about 48 birds at once, until coyotes started getting them. Down to about 25 now.

@Min, I feel like you either love keeping them or hate them. I've never heard something in between.
Big Creek Ranch
Ive had chickens, ducks, and turkeys for about 5 years now. I absolutely love them, but I don't have to take care of them. The hubby does all that each day. Haha!

I fucking hate chickens. We had them when I was growing up in various numbers up to about 20 at one point. They just seem to give no fucks about doing as they're directed. Ours kept escaping and taking themselves off to visit various local smallholdings as well

@Ven, bahahaha. For real though, I love eating chicken. I could have it every day and be perfectly happy.
Morning Glory Farms
I have a friend that owns an apiary so I have an endless supply of honey its amazing, she puts a couple boxes on my one clients every year
Stormsong Manor
I buy them for seven bucks from Sam's Club, and they're already rotisseried
Hummingbird Meadows
I wouldn't mind trying to keep chickens. Not my go-to animal though.
