I second your idea, SCF, Mav is an adult, and if she wants to date this guy, their first few dates should be in public places. Maybe the uncle's concerns is that they will rush the relationship, instead of taking their time to get to know each other better

I had a similar situation Oak. Incredibly annoying. I'm picky as is, and I don't see the point of getting someone's number unless we're gonna actually talk.
