-HEE Click- he is in most of my current AAs. I still remember how proud I was when I bred him. His grandpa was a last minute foal and I was so happy he was PEP - that was decent enough for him to be a keeper and a stud.
-HEE Click- he goes back to a bunch of my old SHs and that's why he has such a sappy name and why I let him have all20 foals - he's also really colourful! And then there are my AAs who still have tons of my old lines in their pedigrees.
That is a lovely boy, Hal! I was always planning on throwing my Picking straws at an EEE mare (W wasn't a thing yet). Now I'm waiting for a mare to use his last straw with -HEE Click- His halfbrother, Iceman was the first EEE stallion I ever bred.
I feel you on that, Nay. I'm also always glad when I find horses with my bloodlines in their pedigrees - especially if the horses aren't all Subs or ISH by now!
I wish I gave my old account to someone, I've just come back after about 12 yrs? I've managed to track down my old boys with such fond memories, but regretting never being big into pulling straws
I believe this is the oldest straw I have, I really want to throw it at a WWW mare at some point just to see what'll happen (and maybe add a sven if I really feel like wasting money)
That was way back when you could still have someone 'babysit' your account. I was just supposed to go on vacation for a few weeks, but then on the first day of my trip I had to put my dog down and the short hiatus turned into one of several years. Since then my stable apparently switched a bunch of owners and I was surprised it even exists when I came back with a new account
Ari, embryos should last forevef, but right now they disappear if the mare in question dies without offspring - happened to me twice now and I made a bug report with screenshots
I wish the current owner of myoriginal stable had held on to some straws that might seem worthless nowadays but still held sentimental value back then. I had 2 straws from 'Picking up the Pieces'. He was only PEP but he was a legendary stud back then. If only I could revive those straws!
