| Yeah no. An instructor is supposed to instruct you on how to handle situations like that. Whiskey is super spooky. I have to keep his head down and mind busy or we are off to the races. The first time it happened me and my instructor broke down what had happened and what to do next time. That is her job, that is what I have hired her for. Now she has become a friend over the couple years I have been there but she still works with me. I have taken lessons from her and now have my horse there. |

| Min, I know a few western people in the UK depending on where you are! I tried one on Woody and love it, I just need to save to be able to buy one lol |

| The last straw was when this one horse kept behaving oddly and bucking for seemingly no reason. We were just walking on long reins and I wasn't doing anything. He must have had his reasons, I'm not blaming him. But the instructor kept downplaying it and not even paying attention or offering any advice at all |

| I have several. But all of mine were way too small for Whiskey. So I traded one and got one that fits him perfectly. |

| I need to try and find somewhere round here where I can try a western saddle- I feel like it would be quite nice to start Ted in one as im hopefully a bit less likely to fall off 🤣 |

| Oh yeah for sure. I am having to buy all equipment and while I do have a good job I am not rich by any means. But I found a Western saddle that fits him and is beautiful. |

| you have to buy one, so only a decent goal if you'd like to do exploring on a regular basis it's a great thing, in my opinion, but not a 'got to get it now' kind of deal lol |

| also sorry to be a newbie, but how do I use round pens?? I got one from a rusty bit and I don't see anything in the FAQs about it |

| I had to bust my ass to buy him, transport him, vet work, and board and lessons. He may have only costed 2k but he is the financial burden that just keeps coming on. He has to get his teeth done, he got body work done. Bounce spoiled horse. |

| Kai it really does :( they are financially struggling as well (possibly the root cause of it all), and I'd like to support by taking lessons and such, but I lost all my confidence from all the shenanigans. It got so bad I'd feel physically sick before the lessons |
