Hey guys! How is everyone?
Boulder Creek
I hope you're able to move past your anxiety tonight. I live with mine every day; some days it's okay and others it feels impossible. I keep a 'not' journal; a quick overview of the week and anything that stood out (usually the night before my therapy appointment lol). It's on a note app on my phone that I add to with what's happening and what technique we worked on to better those feelings and thoughts. Talking about techniques helps a little, medication helps a bit to settle down and having a support system to reach out to whenever helps beyond anything else.

I think so, I would try talking about it but not out loud to anybody, everyone is asleep T-T
Boulder Creek
Oh no! That's annoying. Does it mean your core? Maybe hold a breath or something and focus on your diaphragm? Would talking about it help? Do you have a favorite or calming show, movie, podcast, book? Sometimes I'm so tense that I can't focus on media, so I get that. My go to is hp audiobook or a bookclub podcast about the shadow hunter series. Sometimes it's a cooking review show on yt. WeRateDogs is a great series too.

I don't know how in the world you are supposed to tense your stomach, mine is doing flip-flops lol
Crescent Estate
Boulder I was doing a follow along youtube tutorial for the muscle thing and the train near our house started blaring It's born :/
Boulder Creek
Sometimes either sitting with the feeling helps (or I just anxiety paralyze) - or try a task. It can be simple like brushing your teeth or getting a glass of water. Something to make you move and also have the feeling of accomplishing something.

My therapist just taught me - Progressive Muscle Relaxation. yt a video to guide It was really helpful in calming down to a level state after having intense feelings (anxiety gets to me all too frequently)
Crescent Estate
I feel like if I listened to drums or something I would feel a little better, but right now I'm on edge and basically everything is making me mad lol
Calela Eventing
River Lol, i hate it when people play calming music, its so irritating. Mother's a therapist and her favorite sentance is "just take a deep breath".
Crescent Estate
I watched a video with breathing exercises and calming music a while ago, it just gave me more anxiety T-T
Crescent Estate
Winter Kind of worked, still a bit shaky, I need to go to bed O.o
Calela Eventing
Okay, reading is good (not on your phone though) or sometimes even just opening a window and looking out.
IceQueen
River Sometimes tensing all of my muscles at once and holding it for a few seconds relaxes me down (tricks my brain into think that we Got AwayTM from whatever stressed me out)
DSD Training Center
River, You could think of something that's safe for you and hasn't changed.
Crescent Estate
Cali I would but It's 11:00 at night for me, my family is asleep
