| I get federal holidays off. So the "big" ones. Thanksgiving, Christmas, new years, Labor Day, etc. But I get Black Friday off too? I don't that one. But won't question it lol |

| I work for a company who does not allow call ins, I am required to have 40 hours at least on my time card each week. So if I get sick I have to use sick time or PTO. But I also have like five weeks of PTO, holiday time, and my company adds one week of PTO to my annual amount for sick time. |

| Yea that's not allowed here, if I want to be paid on my sick day I can use my vacation days against it , but that's completely separate. Your vacation days are given by law untouchable |

| only get a certain number of days off per year. A lot of jobs combine sick days with time off. So, if you need to take time off if you're sick, you eat into your vacation time. |
