Oak Just wait til you try or <strong> haha. Min Coding is like any language. If you can look at a word in German, or Irish, or Italian, and know what it means, then you can code. It's just a matter of learning it.

I occasionally type < br > rather than using the enter key when I'm tracking my training and feel like a hacker from a shitty 2000s movie

Mad respect for you guys who can look at coding and see what's actually going on 🤣 I can just about manage to change all the colours lol then Im over my head

Coding in general isn't so different across languages. As long as you get into the habit of respecting the syntax (like not forgetting curly brackets, yikes) they all function pretty similarly. Batch is fun because it's so limited, so you have to get creative to make it do much. CSS is kinda huge, every day I'm learning a new modifier. Oh I did html too, but it's not very exciting without CSS.

I mourn the OG tumblr RP scene like a dead husband, honestly. What a time to be alive :') I work in eComm, and have quite a lot to do with our back end devs, so I may try and do some learning for funsies

Getting started is like most things. You start simple, changing colours with hex codes, or font sizes and styles. Then you get curious about moving things around, you play with width and height and nudging margins. Then you discover display blocks, position modes, layering... then you go down the rabbit hole. My current code looks like the CSS equivalent of white noise.

Uhhh I've been tinkering with code here and there over the years. Batch, JS, CSS. I think I first tapped into CSS many years ago on tumblr, before the RP scene completely died out. So I knew a far bit coming into it, but I've also learned so much by making these palettes too.
Oakmoss Stud
Were you already into coding, or did you learn it for this, out of curiosity? I have no idea where you'd even start, but it looks really interesting!

I gotta be honest, I'm not sure I'm quite wrapping my head around what I'm doing right now either. I decided to take on a palette project that pushes my CSS knowledge, and HEE's limits, to the max. I don't rememeber the last time my brain hurt this much.

Asfa, I genuinaly cannot wrap my brain around how you do it, actual magician

Not me blasting phonk and battle music while I work on a rather insane palette;
