Glacier Bay Cove
Bay horses are cute
Cornflower ISH
Hes a bay with a snip just about as simple as it goes look wise Glacier
Cornflower ISH
A friend of mine got a colt that I'm gonna be gentling and starting its training over the course of a year or two. Very happy for us both!

Yeah, your good, no one said you were, many horses can have hoof problems like that so it's a reasonable reaction.
The Old Gods
x) I'm not defending his actions, by the way. Denali's hoof issues were just a very complex, multi-modular issue
Minerva
Some things get missed unfortunately. My farrier was here this morning and asked if Ted had been lame behind, which he hadn't. Turns out there was a nail in the side of his hoof! Luckily only a tiny one that he reckons won't cause problems and hadn't been there long at all but I couldn't believe it!

Lmao, yeah, no, I would be moving to a different stable if the owner was like that.
The Old Gods
So, between the constant rotation of different farriers each trim cycle and constant thrush, yeah. There were hoof issues. Once we (me, mom, farrier) figured out the issues, it's taken a year and a half, but her feet are finally healthy again
The Old Gods
Honestly, it was a shit stable. Owner was one of those horse women who was convinced she knew everything (she didn't) and drove off most of the farriers in the local area because they wouldn't trim the way SHE wanted.

Damn, I understand he might have not saw the signs due to the type of horse Denali is but still, he should have checked her hoofs, under the saddle, etc.. to make sure nothing would bother her before hopping on.
Sandy Hill Farms
oof. we have had many horses like that and lost a few too. his fall seemed really rough too. But even when my sister got a concussion, 2 yrs later the horse is still here with us lol being fat
The Old Gods
She wasn't showing any signs of hoof issues for several years after she got here until one got super bad and blew through the hoof.
Bioshock Manor
Still. She was showing some subtle signs. Every horse will eventually. Even mine
The Old Gods
No, Denali is one of those horses who acts like nothing is wrong till it's REALLY wrong. And yes. His whole side ended up bruises and he had to go to urgent care because he bruised a kidney and was...Well <_> peeing a bit of blood lol probably tmi, but yeah.
