| If it's shipped in, chances are, it won't have dew. Can take a few weeks for dew to start forming, sooner if it's really happy. A happy Drosera is a sticky Drosera. A lack of dew typically means it's not getting enough light. |

| Low nutrient soil, distilled water. Likes its roots staying wet (just plop the pot into a container with an inch or two of water), and at least 12 hours of light per day are the bare minimum |

| D. filiformis has different needs than D. capensis owing to growing on different continents. |
