Hey Min
Minerva
Oh yeah, Sloe gin is definitely a worthy reward for foraging 🤣 Lol Oak you got suckerred there!
Embervale Acres
Thankfully they were porcelain berries (even though it's invasive) but if you look them up it definitely looks like one you want to be suspicious of lol
Ashcroft Park Stud
Yeah I do love sloe gin, my best friend used to make it so I'm hoping to make some in her honour this year <3 Noted about trying a 'raw' sloe lol - thank you for doing the research hahah
Gemstone Stable
Well, this accounts premium ran out. And I'm broke. lol So goes life...
Snitches' Stitches
Can someone tell me if this would be in bug reporting or an update suggestion: fixing the sound bar on the Kentucky derby hats game for mobile so it actually works
Oakmoss Stud
Sloe gin is a waiting game but sooo worth it, just don't get baited into trying a sloe straight off the bush like I did (0/10, do not recommend)
Ravenwood Farm
We also have a lot of these guys, birch boletes I think they are called. They come in a red and a brown version and are fun to ID. Technically they aren't really edible, unless you boil them for a long time first, but they aren't dangerous either. They scare me but I have eaten them before
Stormsong Manor
My friends and I used to sneak into a neighbor's yard as kids to steal berries from her bushes. 11/10 most delicious berries I've ever tasted
Ashcroft Park Stud
One of my goals this year is to forage some sloes to make sloe gin in the Autumn - that's about as wild as I'm willing to go lol
Willow Grove
Very easy to ID lol. My poor mother was so worried that it made me start second guessing XD I wanted to try more but by the time we went back someone foraged ALL of it. We were so disappointed. We had only taken one small piece to try & it was all over multiple logs
Embervale Acres
Or you can be like my supposedly intelligent father, when we were first dealing with an invasive vine that had pretty berries...eat one without identifying it first, and offer one to our neighbor 🙄
Oakmoss Stud
Chicken of the woods is super tasty and so easy to ID, it's where I usually point people who want to forage and not die in the process xD But if mushrooms are too scary, there are tonnes of herbs and wild plants instead. Nettles are a bit like spinach if you pick them young, and the seeds are really good instead of poppy seeds
