| It could be that these horses are older than the change. It's a really rare color, so maybe none have been born + gene tested after? |

| No clue! I just read the guide and learned how they worked and never thought to actually look at existing BCs to check haha. |

| Raven, can you link me one of the black chestnuts with Aa agouti? I'm curious! The guide defo says aa for agouti to get black! |

| I think that just means it doesn't have any pearl gene (it's recessive, prl = it has pearl, opposite of most genes on here) |

| I searched for gene tested black chestnuts now, and several have Aa. One had aa though. I have no idea, maybe this is a question for the genetics side of the forums |

| Yes I refreshed my memory by checking, gotta be ee for extension (obviously) and aa for agouti, but that doesn't guarantee it. It's still randomly selected for the picture! |
