Spring - oh god that's the one thing about western saddles I dread x-x Esme - in all honesty "gallop " is a strong word for a draft canter xD

Gladius - he ages up into an adult in May, I believe so we can see how funky he looks at an adult.

I'd argue the trot depends more on type of stride than size. Some really nice ponies can have a great to to sit

Gladius, Oh gosh xD. I'm hoping she doesn't get too tall (even though she's saying otherwise) because I'm 5'1 and I've got a 60 pound saddle I can barely get on my 14.2hh girl somedays

Esme - I got to sit a shire once and took her for a trail ride. Galloping up a hill felt like charging into battle. It was so cool

Spring - oh yeah that'll do it haha. The Hannoverian was supposed to be 16.2-3... he's every bit of 17h and probably 16-1700 pounds of muscle. Cross country machine aside from his gallop being a canter+ xD

Gladius, I'm used to stock ponies lol. I've had her 2 months and shes gone from 14.2 to 15.1 in that amount of time.
