Green I've always wanted a ball python. Absolutely waiting until I can forge the proper environment and have all the knowledge I need, though. I can't imagine those little "parting gifts" on your face feeling very good lol |

I wouldn't mind if they had to go through some type of education, or be required to read through paperwork NOT created by pet stores because they're just as clueless. But yes, licensing is too much in my eyes. |

I had to have all this experience and all these credentials to get my job. They wouldn't just hire me off the street at face value. It's insane that people can just pop out a child whenever they want under any circumstances |

Birds shouldn't be "pets" anyways. I love my U2 but it makes me sad knowing he will never get the life a bird deserves |

I guess maybe "licensing" was the wrong way to articulate it. I mean a looser form of some documentation, I suppose. |

Honestly, requiring licenses on all animals is just going to end up with a lot of dead or abandoned animals |

@Lo Wish ball pythons bites felt like that, if they get you good enough they can leave you with a bruise as a parting gift lol, its why I don't have any of my enclosures at face high from some experience with feeding time |

Mmm... Licensing to *own* may be a step too far. Birds, all birds, are considered exotic. But it's a WILD spectrum. Finches? Feed once a week, change papers, otherwise you can ignore. Macaws? 100% of your attention, daily. *Nobody* is going to go through a license just to get a finch, and then there's a problem there. |
