My uncle and aunt have a husky who IÂ’ve known for over 12 years. She is getting so old but I love her to pieces. She has a broken back that canÂ’t be operated on and canÂ’t travel anymore but is still getting around pretty well. I remember walking her when I was like 11. She was so well behaved and IÂ’m going to miss her tons. I struggle with German shepherds as a breed because IÂ’ve never had a good experience with them. I find that backyard breeding has just destroyed them as a whole for me.
Too many people get a dog/puppy, based solely on looks. They don't research the breeds temperament, and requirements. When they don't pan out to the peoples expectations, they end in in shelters, or worse.
I...despise huskies. The only huskies I've met that I could handle being around had incredibly responsible owners who spent nearly all their time with their dog. It's not the huskies fault. Unfortunately, I see a lot of them in neglect or pounds. It sounds like I'm trying to like say don't get a husky but that's not my goal. They're so smart and deserve an owner who will cater to all their needs! I personally couldn't get a husky cause if the hair alone. I'm more of a schnauzer person myself as well. Tis what I had as a child.
Greek Unsplash and DA have good stock that you can use. Just read the rules on DA for the stock. You also canÂ’t just use that image so you have to manipulate or change it in some way and then add credits. Stable avatars have to be 300x300 pixels and you can use a free image condenser that you find on google to downsize it if it has a DPI that is too high to be used on game.
My franchie (actually my mother's but took her in due to issues with her) was never trained to be socialized around people but still loves people and knows not to tackle kids. She doesn't tug in toys from kids like they are grown men and let's them throw the ball.
Dimmy It can be hard, but consistency of your actions will help. Maybe saying ouch or pretending to be hurt when the baby is being to rough, or some kind of cause relation work like that?
Finding an image for my avatar is getting frustrating. I can't ever tell if an image is free to use, and when I make my own, it keeps saying it's the wrong size, or not a file. -_-
Dimmy She's 3 1/2 As soon as she came into contact with an animal we had to start cracking down on certain behaviors like pulling hair or tails, hitting or chasing, yelling and crowding the animal. Also just making them stop interacting when I can tell the animal is done playing. So far she's been in contact with cats, dogs, a salamander and fish. She also likes to visit the horses, but we do not let her out of our arms for that
My giant schnauzer pup I wouldnÂ’t trust around anyone until obedience is solidly in place. ItÂ’s just because of what she is being bred for and going to be trained for. Kids are an absolute no no with her until then.
I wish everyone understood and thought that way about their dogs. My mom's rat terrier mutt got aggressive the first time we brought my son to her house when he was 2? Months old and bit my husbands pants (was shaking his pant leg and growling) and then bit my foot after she was restricted out of the room. I haven't brought him back since and my mom doesn't take it seriously. "They are small they won't hurt him. I have shock collars. They aren't aggressive"... I don't want to take chances, thanks 😅
We did have one dog that my dad found and brought home that I really like he was a nice dog he was a husky sadly one night someone stole him out of our yard and I never saw him again that was the first time I fell in love with the husky breed
