White did you see the thing Mark Rober did where he put glitter bombs in cars? When people stole the package it would glitter bomb them and record them- not one glitter bomb went to a poor looking home.
The keyword there is "some" If these are people who already have thousands of dollars, I would understand. But we don't know ALL of their situations. Shooting EVERYONE because 5 of the hundreds of people are doing it unnecessarily is just dumb. There are like 15 billionaires who are stealing more from you every day than these looters, and we don't kill or arrest them for it.
The looters are not homeless nor starving. Some have had interviews. Their excuses is that the houses are burning anyways. They're taking valuables, not survival items. I have no room in my heart for evil.
personally, I'd like to see public hanging, make a come back. I know that sounds pretty harsh, but it would be an effective deterrent to those considering a life of crime.

I have to say, these perspectives feel a bit privileged to me. LA has a poverty rate of over 30% which is higher than the rest of California. If you had no food, shelter, or family, I think you would feel very differently. This topic is quite upsetting for some people I think - especially the advocating of violence. I won't say more but I would personally hope that at least the topic of violence could be moved elsewhere?

Granny, I understand the feelings but I dont think promoting shooting people is the way to go. And I think these people do have reason, LA has a huge poverty rate. These people are seeing a chance to maybe afford food or shelter. I understand losing your belongings is hard but some people do have the money or jobs to recover. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of loss and hardship but there's no need to hurt or kill more people. The tragedy is natural disasters, climate change, and poor management of those kinds of things, not people who are stuck in the same natural disaster trying to survive.
