Yeah, it doesn't really have very many important points in it. I didn't love it but there are people out there who REALLY hate the fourth one. Some of the reviews I've seen for it are crazy.
Yeah I get that. The second one does have a few important things in it if I recall. It's been a hot minute since I read them lol. The third one is set about a year after the first.
I was kind of upset that the second one starts over with another pov. I was expecting it to continue on with the timeline of the first book. The third one does, but I don't know if it skips some time and the second has anything important that I will miss if I skip it lol
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

You can hire a rider. They will be automatically assigned to your horse. Be sure to visit the Rider's Lounge and pay them.
Set Breeding Requirements for your horse. Enter the minimum rating allowable for breeding. When breeding, Any combo of the entered values and higher will be accepted. Leave blank to set to None.
Edit your horse's remarks. Keep all content PG-13.
Choose a Background for your horse.
Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
Your horse has shown 3 times this week.
Enter Regular Shows again next week.

and based on that may make the Federation Championships.
