Snake wise I’m not too sure (I’ve always wanted a snake and I’d love to get one soon) but lizard wise I’m fairly sure a leopard gecko or bearded dragon are the friendliest beginner lizards! |

@Clay, it depends. I used to have a hognose and he was great! But, some can be hissy and will false strike you. It depends on personality. I made sure to look for one that was friendly when I was purchasing. |

I wish I had time for a snake! I feel like a corn snake or ball python would be cool but I don't have the space nor the time |

Clay Get a smaller species, like a milk snake, corn snake, hognose, etc |

That is sad ;-; I will say though I did have one male ball python at one time that did need to live in a rack. He was absolutely beautiful I was so sad to have to rehome him but no mater what I did he was so defensively aggressive and refused to eat. I actually traded him for my female king snake. But the guy that got him has snake racks and said as soon as he was set up in one he ate no issue and was super chill. |
